MEDIA MANIA VISITS KU SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM
LAWRENCE, Kan. — Seven Media Mania campers went to the KU School of Journalism in Lawrence, Kan., on Tuesday, June 7, to learn about media and journalism.
KU Academic Advisor Ashley Gomez led the tour. Mrs. Gomez remarked that working at KU has reinforced the idea that helping students is what she wants to do in her life. As part of her job, she helps a lot of students get settled into their new home, college.
Camper Catherine said, "I liked the campus because it is so cool to see the different rooms."
Taking a tour of the KU School of Journalism is a great way to discover journalism and media. These seven students got to experience that in a way that nobody could imagine. And it was pretty magical.
